fact sources and writings about this individual:

(below) transcribed research of Kevin Everingham of MI, 2011 & 2019

1840 CENSUS of East Windsor, Mercer, New Jersey, (Page 4, 5th line) "Major Evernham, 1M 40-50,.. 1F under 5,.. 1F 30-40." this is clearly Major & Sarah and young Eliza. But who is listed 4 lines away? Henry born ~1810-1819, also has 2 elderly females living with him.
1840 CENSUS of East Windsor twp., Mercer, NJ (also Page 4, 9th line) "Henry Evernham, 1M under 5,.. 1M 5-10,.. 1M 15-20,.. 1M 20-30,.. 2F 15-20,.. 1F 40-50,.. 1F 70-80,.. 1F 80-90."

1850 CENSUS Bucks County, PA (family #309) ... Major Everham 58, b.NJ,.. Sarah Everham 39, b.NJ,.. Elizabeth Everham 12, b.NJ,.. Benjamin Everham 9, b.NJ,.. Clayton Everham 8, b.NJ,.. Aaron Everham 6, b.PA,.. Margeretta Everham 4, b.PA. This census suggests that the family moved from New Jersey to Pennsylvania between 1842 and 1844.

1860 CENSUS Falls Twp., Bucks Co., PA (Page 97, house #749).. "John H. Riley 23, b.NJ,.. Elizabeth Riley 23, b.NJ,.. Sarah P. Riley 4, b.PA,.. William H. Riley 0, b.PA,.. Sarah Everham 50, b.NJ.. Benjamin Everham 19, b.NJ,.. Clayton B. Everham 18, b.NJ,.. Aaron J. Everham 16,b .PA,.. Margaretta Everham 14, b.PA,.. Rebecca J. Everham 10, b.PA." it appears that Major Evernham was dead by 1860.

Major Everingham enlisted as a Private in Captain Charles South's Company on September 16, 1814. He was discharged on December 5, 1814. "19 days prior to the end of the WAR of 1812."
