NJ Daily State Gazette announced the marriage of "Jane E. Evernham" to Ezra R. Killey 1860, Mercer NJ.

1870 US CENSUS Hamilton Twp., Mercer, NJ (Page 30, June 27, 1870 house #250).. "Pearson Evernham 69, b.NJ, farmer,.. Mary Evernham 62, b.NJ,.. Hartshorn Evernham 34, b.NJ,.. Mary E. Evernham 32, b.NJ,.. Belinda Evernham 30, b.NJ,.. Emma Evernham 28, b.NJ."
1880 US CENSUS Hamilton, Mercer, NJ (Sheet 564D, house 9342794).. "Pearson Evernham 75, person sick or disabled at time of enumerator's visit? Cancer on lip, born in N.J, parents born in NJ,.. Mary 74,.. Hartshorn 45,.. Mary 42,.. Malinda 39." looks like cancer of the mouth or face could have been the cause for Pearson's death in 1881.

1896 The Freehold Transcript & Monmouth Inquirer, Aug 28, 1896 (Page 8).. "Mrs. Mary E. Evernham who resides near Yardville, NJ celebrated her 88th bithday on Friday the 14th. Mrs. Evernham has seven children, all living. The oldest son, Edmund Evernham of Allentown, is well known. She resides on the farm where she has lived for more than forty years, left to her by her late husband Pierson Evernham, who was born in 1800 and died about fifteen years ago. Her married son and two daughters live with her and carry on the farm. The combined ages of Mrs. Evernham and her descendants number up to 712 years."

"(Edgebrook) In the year 1846 Pearson Evernham and Mary his wife purchased what is now known as the Evernham farm, owned and occupied by Allen G. Hendrickson and wife, the latter being a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Evernham. Only one birth has ever taken place there, and that was in 1850, when Henrietta, the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Evernham, was born."
