1852 census reel #C11725 Haldiman Co. with wife and 4 children, age 37 - 1 1/2 story frame house.
1861 census reel #C1051 Middlesex Co. Mosa Twsp Ward #1 Page 15.
With wife and 8 children - a laborer - age 46 - could not read or write - married 1843.
1886 Bothwell Times Dec 16, 1886 - "The barn and contents of Mr. George Everingham, Orford, was destroyed by fire Saturday night." (Sat Dec 11th.)
1891 CENSUS Orford, Elgin West, Ontario.. "George Everingham was 76"
1895 May 18th - Wife, Elizabeth Jane, dies in Mosa twsp, Middlesex Co. Ontario (OVS Death cert#10612/95-Mosa)
1896 Bothwell Times Jan 30 - "funeral for the late Mr. Everingham took place on Sunday (Jan 26) to the Purcell Cemetery in Orford."
2Name Elizabeth Jane ANKER or ANGER had come up in IGI files but no proof of her maiden name was found, until... research of Kevin Everingham in 2008 shows "ANKER" is most likely.. see notes on the death record of Adoram D. Everingham and the death certificate of Charles B. Everingham on their pages... The death record of Wm. Henry in 1945 also gives his mother's name as "Eliza Jane Anker".
