This Thomas seems to dissapear from records after 1879. He may have died but I have no proof. His twin George had a son who he named Thomas W. Everingham in 1876. An article appeared (below) of Thomas being injured in 1879, did this lead to his death?

1879 Bridgeton Evening News, Bridgeton, NJ, June 16, 1879.. "Mr. Thomas Everingham, living on Pine street, this city, was recently hurt severely on the head by the fall of a pulley block, while engaged in boat service. This wound which at the time was known to be severe, after being promptly attended to, healed up speedily and was thought to be almost well. Last week Mr. E. complained of a dull ache in the region of the wound and violent throbbing, and suddenly yesterday, a stream of blood jetted from the affected part and could not be stayed until the patient had sustained a loss of a quantity of blood. Three physicians, we are told, were sent for and failed to put in an appearance, when Dr. Ware responded to the call and attended to the case."

1883 Same Thomas? or this Thomas Everham? The News of Cumberland County Newspaper, Feb 2, 1883 (font page).. "A little son of Thos. Everingham was run over by a peddler wagon yesterday afternoon. The wagon was driving out of the hotel yard, and the tongue struck the lad, knocking him down and cutting a gash in his forehead. The gash was sown up and dressed by Dr. Sheppard."
