1940 Eagle Bulletin Fayetteville, NY Thursday, August 15, 1940.. "A funeral service was held last Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Louise Washburn at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Harris. Mrs. Washburn died last Thursday morning in Oxford, NY after a long illness. Burial was made in Fayetteville cemetery. Surviving besides Mrs. Harris is a son, Mr. William Washburn of Utica. The bearers were Hiram Agan, Franklin Agan, Larence Murgittroyd, Walter Lyman. Jr., Herbert Cornell and Nicholas Remlinger."
