"William Evingham born July 4, 1866, another of Amity's most aged natives, passed away early yesterday morning following a long illness in the home of his daughter Mrs. Harry Simms on the Almond Road, near Hornell, where himself and wife have resided since fire destroyed their Scio Road home some three years ago. He was wedded in 1891 to Edith Lewis, who survives, with the daughter above mentioned."
