2012 Daily News, January 2012.."Edna E. Springsteen, age 93, of Sheridan passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in Riverdale, Michigan. She was born July 11, 1918, in Evergreen Township, the daughter of Frank E. & Lena (Gambee) Weber. On May 18, 1938, she was married to Owen Springsteen and he preceded her in death on March 18, 1980. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one sister, Lucille Ralph and a brother, Dale Weber. Surviving are her children, Gerald & Neva Springsteen of Fenwick and Wayne & Vicky Springsteen of Carson City, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, two sisters, Dollie Hull of Ithaca, Sally Woodbury of Hart and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Springsteen has been a longtime resident of Bloomer Township.Funeral services beginning at 11:00 A.M. will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan with Pastor John Gosselin officiating. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery, Sheridan.."
