1930 The St. Paris News-Dispatch, St.Paris, Ohio, exact date in 1930 not recorded .. "Miss Florence Runkle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Runkle and Mahlon Everingham were united in marriage Saturday, February 22, at the Baptist parsonage in Urbana by Rev. Samuel Furrow."
1932 The St. Paris News-Dispatch, July 7, 1932.. "Mr. and Mrs. Hezekiah Pyle, Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Everingham and daughter Betty and William C. Runkle of north of town saw the fireworks in Springfield, Monday. Miss Gladys Runkle and Cecil Evilsizor north of town were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Everingham in Rosewood."
1933 The St. Paris News-Dispatch, St.Paris, Ohio, June 15, 1933.. "Hugh Jerome Everingham spent Sunday with his grandparents Harry Everingham and wife while his parents Mahlon Everingham and wife attended the Runkle reunion at Troy fairground.. Miss Alegra Everingham has purchased three hundred Buff Rocks of Mr. Poling of St. Paris. This makes two thousand chicks she has purchased since early spring and she has been very successful with them."
1937 The St. Paris News-Dispatch, St.Paris, Ohio, April 29, 1937.. "Farmers carry on tradition of being Good Neighbors - The farm tradition of the neighborly helping hand is not gone & was shown last week when neighbors and friends of C.O.Pressler, turned out with a will to help Pressler with his spring plowing. Both Mr. and Mrs. Pressler are ill and unable to perform their customary work. Driving twelve teams and a tractor into his fields, the neighbors plowed twenty-eight acres for him during the day. Those assisting were Ed Ward, Pete Everingham, Emmett Runkle, Ernest Overholser, Arthur Argabright, Kenneth Small, Henry Forsythe, John Blackford, Stanley Mauk, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Pressler; Gurn Bailey, Kenneth Buroker, Freeman Everingham, Hiram Buroker, and Willard Pence." Pete is Mahlon, Freeman is Charles. It's also likely that Emmett Runkle was a brother of Pete's wife; Florence Runkle.
