She succeeds Ted Schubel who has been manager of teh branch for the past four years. He resigned the position to accept a job at Potate Aux."

Lois Jane Everingham, formerly of Caseville, daughter of the late William and Florence (Kent) Everingham, died October 30, 2013, in Hillsdale, MI, at the age of 93.
Her forty-four year career in banking began with working for her father, who was president of the Kinde State Bank. She was manager of the Caseville branch of that bank for thirty-three years, and the remaining eleven years were spent at the main office in Bad Axe. She retired in 1982.
Lois served on the board of the Caseville Civic Club, Caseville Community Chest, United Way of Caseville, Huron County Red Cross, Tom Thumb Nursery, Caseville Council of Arts, Huron Memorial Board of Incorporators and Michigan National Association of Bank Women.
She was a former member of St. Roch Catholic Church, the Caseville Eagle's Auxiliary, and Huron Medical Care Center Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sisters and one brother; and many dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Shirley Everingham, Elizabeth Wahl and Adelaide Markel.
A funeral mass will be at 11 AM Thursday, November 7th, at St. Roch Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Pare presiding. Burial will be in New River Cemetery, Port Austin.
