    Obituary
    Aileen Ramona "Kit" Tamblyn, daughter of William R. and Florence R. Kent Everingham, was born at home in Kinde, Michigan. A gifted artist, musician, and lifelong learner, Kit graduated from Kinde High School in 1947. She played the organ for the Kinde Presbyterian Church for 16 years, beginning as a teen.
    She married James H. Tamblyn on June 12, 1948. The couple lived in Kinde, Bad Axe and Hillsdale throughout Jim's banking career. Jim died on March 27, 1987, of multiple myeloma. Kit was a founding member and long-time supporter of hospital auxiliaries in Bad Axe and Hillsdale. She maintained life-long friendships with Michigan bankers and spouses and the people of the communities in which she lived.
    Kit was an accomplished knitter, quilter, cross stitch creator, crossword puzzle aficionado, seamstress, reader, writer and cook, but most of all she was an exceptional mother to her six children, their spouses, their children and their grandchildren. She was the heart of her extended family, taking great interest in their activities, thoughts, and well-being. She was a magnet and anchor for family, no matter how far-flung. Her sharp mind and loving attitude drew all who knew her.
    She is survived by six children: Kathryn (Steve) Bell of East Jordan MI; George (Teresea) of Hillsdale; Colleen Kelley of Hillsdale; James R. (Julia) of Ft. Myers, FL; Charles (Kristen) of Neptune Beach, FL; and Patrick (Diane) of Ann Arbor, MI, 13 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. Four grandchildren proceeded her in death, as did five sisters and a brother and their spouses. Kit was a member of the Hillsdale Presbyterian Church since 1974.
