Mrs. John Everham, Glenn Everham and Mrs. Harry (Lois) Stein attended the funeral services on Monday in Wheaton for 97 year old John G. Hanchett who redided in Earlville. He was married to the former Millicent Everham of Earlville and there were two daughters born to them, Mrs. Clyde (Eleanor) Lammey, with whom he made his home in Wheaton and Mrs. Julian (Beatrice) Vormland of Downers Grove. "
1980 The Earlville Leader (Vol.113, #15) Thur, April 10, 1980.."Mrs. Everham will be a century old Monday... Alice Everham's friends and relatives will call to help her celebrate the 100th anniversary of her birth, which was April 14, 1880. Mrs. Everham was born Alice J. Dooling on a farm notheast of Earlville. Her parents were John and Sarah Phillips Dooling. The James Phillips family were pioneer settlers in this area. At the age of 24, Alice married John Everham, a descendant of another family of early settlers in this area. Their wedding occurred on Dec. 21 1904. Mr and Mrs. Everham became the parents of a son and daughter, Harold Glenn and Lois Elizabeth. The Everhams retired from farming and moved to the former Binder house on Stilson St. which they purchased in 1944. Mr. Everham died of a heart attack in March of 1949.

Everham died Tuesday afternoon June 19, 1984 in Hertage Manor, Mendota, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Everham was born Alice J. Dooling April 14, 1880. Her parents were John and Sarah Phillips Dooling. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Harry (Lois) Stein of Englewood, Florida. She was preceded in death by her son Glenn, her husband, three brothers and three sisters."
