fact sources and writings about this individual:

Research of Kevin Everingham of Michigan, 2014:

1850 CENSUS Southampton, Burlington, NJ (household #568)... "Henry Lee 57, b.NJ,.. Ann Lee 48, b.NJ,.. Rebecca Lee 15, b.NJ,.. Esther Lee 18, b.NJ,.. Demaricis Lee 14, b.NJ,..Hannah Lee 12, b.NJ,.. Samuel Jameson 55, b.Maine" Henry LEE lived in Southampton, Burlington, NJ in the 1830 and 1840 Census... A "Sarah Lee" born about 1829 lived with parents John and Martha Lee at Southampton NJ in 1850...it looks possible that Hannah and Sarah could have been cousins. Sarah could have also been an older sister of Hannah.
1850 also of possible interest, there was a Benjain Everham, age 12 living with James & Mary WORALL, in the 1850 census of Southampton, Burlington, NJ. (likely this Benjamin)
1860 CENSUS Southampton twp., Burlington, NJ (household #449)... "Henry Lee 69, b.NJ,.. Ann Lee 59, b.NJ,.. Hannah Lee 20, b.NJ,.. Benj. Everham 22, b.NJ" This is almost certainly Hannah and Benjamin Everham with her parents, probably not long before they married... On August 28, 1862 a girl named "Annie Everham" was born at Southampton, Burlington, NJ, the daughter of Benjamin & Hannah Everham. (this is almost certainly their first child)

1868 Burlington, NJ Birth Index...(vol.B, pg.118) "William H. Everham, male, b.16 November 1868 at Southampton, Burlington, NJ.. father: Benjamin S. Everham, mother: Hannah A."

1870 CENSUS Southampton twp., Burlington, NJ (sheet 4, family #100) "Benjamin Everham 33, b.NJ,.. Hannah A. Everham 30, b.NJ,.. Maryetta Everham 4, b.NJ,.. William H. Everham 1, b.NJ.... Joshua Woolston 29, laborer,.. Sarah Woolston 25,.. Joseph B. Woolston 1." very clear census, easy to read.

1880 CENSUS Southampton, Burlington, NJ (sheet 548B) uncertain if this is the same family but it appears very probable, did Hannah die in 1880? "Benjamin Everham 44, b.NJ,.. Hannah Ann Everham 38, b.NJ,.. Marietta Everham 14, b.NJ, dau,.. William H. Everham 12, b.NJ, son,.. Benjamin Franklin Everham 6, b.NJ."

1880 Burlington, NJ Marriage Record (D-E, L21)... Benj. S. Everham 47 and Sarah Ann Lee 50, married October 13, 1880 at Mt. Holly, Burlington, New Jersey. this is an index online file, I have not seen the actual record to check the numbers given. This would estimate his date of birth as 1833

1885 STATE CENSUS, Southampton, Burlington, NJ (family #501).. "Benj Everham (20-60),.. Sarah (20-60),.. William (5-20),.. Benj F. (5-20)."

1890 CENSUS of Surviving Soldiers of the Civil War in Northampton township, Burlington County, NJ, June 1890 (Page 5). He enlisted as a Private in Company F, 23rd Regiment of the New Jersey Volunteer Infantry on August 26, 1862. He was honorably discharged June 27, 1863 after serving 10 months. He served through the December 1862 Fredericksburg Campaign and the May 1863 Chancellorsville Campaign. NOTE - with this service information, the date of birth given in the 1900 Census is not possible.

although the dates/ages seem off a little the 1900 Census below does appear to be the right people. It says they had 7 childen. However, this sets his date of birth 1854? this is either incorrect or the wrong couple. I have actually seen this Census and the dates below are what was written. NOTE- Northampton township was renamed Mount Holly Township in 1931.
1900 CENSUS Northampton, Burlington, NJ (Sheet 14A, fam#324) Monroe Street "Benjamin Everham, b.April 1854, (46) married 21 yrs,.. Sarah Everham, wife, b.1824 (76), married 21 yrs, mother of 7 children, 3 living."
