2001 August 29, 2001 • Quad-City Times Obituaries, MILAN, Ill. -- Services for William Everingham, Milan, will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Andalusia. Private inurnment will be held at a later date in Calvary Mausoleum, Rock Island. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at the church, with a Christian wake service at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Everingham died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001, at his home. Esterdahl Mortuary Ltd., Moline, is in charge of arrangements. He was born Oct. 7, 1941, in Des Moines. He married Karen A. Unferth in 1963 in Rock Island. He worked as an independent insurance agent for 35 years, last working March 15, 2001. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the church or a favorite charity. Survivors include his wife, Karen; daughters, Molly Robbins, Coal Valley, and Jayne Woeber, Andalusia; a son, Kent Everingham, Savannah, Ga.; five grandchildren; and a sister, Kathy Allen, Lawrenceville, Ga.

Everingham A Mass of Christian Burial for Karen Everingham, 64, of Taylor Ridge, will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2006 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Andalusia, where she was a member. The Rev. Richard Barcliff will be the celebrant. Visitation is Sunday from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the church with a Christian Wake Service at 3:00 p.m. Private family inurnment will be held at Calvary Mausoleum at a later date. Karen passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at her home. She was born March 17, 1942 in Moline, the daughter of William and Patricia (Wright) Unferth. She married William K. Everingham on August 17, 1963 at St. Pius Catholic Church, Rock Island. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2001. Karen was employed as a rural letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 2002. She loved her dog Belle, going to her grandchildren's sporting events, golf and playing cards. Karen's greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
