Reserch of Kevin Everingham of MI. Is this the same William Everingham (b.abt 1747?). Possibly not, because the girls are much too young to be the daughters of this 1840 census William.
1840 CENSUS of Bergen, Chesterfield Twp., Burlington, NJ.. "William Everingham was age 93, listed as a veteran (likely a vetern of the revolution), census listed himself and 6 females." if this is the right William, it appears that he was likely living with a widowed daughter and her girls. One female 70-80 (possibly his wife), one 40-50 (a daughter?, 2 girls 10-15, one girl 5-10 and one girl under 5.
