1752 Jeremiah deeded land to William his brother and to take care of their widowed mother Rachel. So their father Henry had died by 1752. (deed)

New Jersey Post Revolutionary Documents Calendar of Wills page 124. William Everingham written 13 Mar 1793. Proved 2 June 1798. Mentions brothers; Joseph. Thomas. Nathaniel. Sister Judith and... Rhoday Chambers and Rhoday Scott.

Speculation of Kevin Everingham of MI
Notice this WILL was written in 1793.. thus we do not know William's date of death for sure, although notes say the will was proved 1798. Is it possible that he was living in 1840?... see 1840 Census research. Other notes; We do know that this William's brothers served in the Revolution and the William from the 1840 Census served as well and was born about 1747. HOWEVER, the will listed above does note that it is proved in 1798, meaning it is likely that the William on this page died in 1798.

* The name Virginia Everham is speculative here because Revolutionary War documents including War Pension #0944 (S.34,343) paper gives this name on William's file. (her name spelled EVERHAM, his spelled EVERINGHAM) I have not seen these actual papers so for now will list this only as speculation.
