CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE: Chicago IL birth records shows a Herbert Wanland born May 2, 1910, son of John Wanland 42 of Stockholm, Sweden and Augusta Erickson 39 of Helsingburg, Sweeden... Herbert Wanland (b.1910 d.1950) is buried at Foster Road Cemetery in Redgranite, Waushara, Wisconsin. In this same cemetery is Henrietta Buchanan Everingham (1901-1995) and Jean Etta Everingham (1930-1999). It is very probable that this is William's wife and daughter. Also buried there is Rebecca Buchanan (1880-1969), Edward J. Buchanan (1872-1939) and 5 other Buchanans, one is John Buchanan (1899-1962), Etta's probable brother,.. John & Rebecca are listed below in the 1940 census. William & Etta's daughter was living with her grandmother and uncle in Waushara, WI in 1940, the census lists her former residence as Chicago, IL.

It should be noted that it is also possible Henrietta was first married to a Buchanan son of Edward & Rebecca who died young and she then had a second marriage to William Everingham.
