Since the name Samuel Robbins is so common, even in Indiana/Ohio area, it is very hard to find them prior to 1860.
1860 US CENSUS Greensfork, Randolph County, Indiana July 7, 1860 (Page 81, family 575).. "Samuel Robins 73, b.NJ, farmer,.. Nancy Robins 76, b.NJ" living next to Clayton 23, b.OH, & Molly Robbins 19.. and Abraham & Hannah Platt 45, all farmers, born in Ohio.

Robbins (1838-1914), Ezekiel Robbins (1813-1876), Nancy Ann Everingham Robbins (1783-1871), Samuel Robbins (1751-1837), Samuel Robbins (1787-1861)."

This one born abt 1763 Samuel's father?
