1940 US CENSUS Oak Lawn, Worth Twp, Cook County, IL (Sheet 26B, family #546).. "William Thomas 40, b.Newfoundland, fireman,.. Antonette Thomas 38, b.Lithuania, wife,.. Zena Thomas 10, b.IL, stepdaughter,.. Ruth Thomas 8, b.IL, stepdaughter." I can't seem to find Ronald or his parents in the 1940 census.
1957 MI Obituary of Wm.A. Thomas.. Graveside services were held at the Mears cemetery for William A. Thomas, 68 who passed away suddenly last Wednesday morning. Mr. Thomas was born May 16, 1899 at Newfoundland. He married Antoinette Rolland May 8, 1937 at Crown Point, Ind. He leaves his wife; two daughters, Zena Evernham of Shelby and Ruth Hoensen of Chicago, Ill.
