1942 St.Paris News-Dispatch, Thur, Feb.19, 1942.. "Mrs. Clem Everingham of Fletcher and a former resident of the Lena-Conover community was struck by an automobile in front of the Brown township school building on Tuesday evening. Mrs. Everingham suffered deep scalp lacerations, shock and possible rib fractures. She is confined to Memorial Hospital, Piqua, where her condition is reported as fair."

"CLEM EVERINGHAM DIES SUNDAY AT HIS HOME Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Suber Funeral Home, Fletcher for Clem Everingahm who died Sunday at his residence in Fletcher. Death was due to complications. The son of Charles and Mary Flowers Everingham, he was born May 11, 1865 at Lena and a lifelong resident of Brown township. Survivors are his wife, two nieces, Mrs. John Sims, Fletcher route and Mrs. Abie Pence of St. Paris route."
