1938 Daily Call, Piqua, Ohio, Jan 25, 1938.. "SUICIDE VICTIM IS BURIED ON MONDAY .. St. paris, Jan 25 - funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon for Perry Everingham, 65, who committed suicide at his home on West main St late Saturday morning. Everingham's body was found hanging by a rope at the deceased's home by Charles Ayers, a neighbor who had gone there to deliver groceries. In front of the suspended body was a picture of the deceased's mother who died last fall. Nearby were three notes addressed to friends telling of his despondency. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Joseph Everingham and a brother, Cory, who also died by self destruction. He leaves no immediate relatives."
