1986 Bryan Times, May 8, 1986... "Lloyd G. Everingham, 64, Defiance, died at his residence wednesday evening, May 7, 1986. Born in Toledo Nov. 28, 1921, he was the son of Eunice (Hinkle) and Harold C. Everingham. From 1969 to 1979 he owned and operated the Town and Country Night Club in Alvordton, and in 1983 he opened Everingham's Place in Defiance. He had served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3360. On June 9, 1951 he was married to Rose Leidner, and she survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Cindy Everingham of Defiance; two sons, Lloyd C. of Alvordton and Michael A. of Whitehouse; two brothers, Lynn of Toledo and Jack of Maumee; and three sisters, Mrs. John (Mary Ann) Sullivan and Mrs. Bernard (Nancy) Pilcher, both of Portland, Ore. and Mrs. Arnold (Sophia) Oswald of Garden Grove, CA."
