1918 U.S. Selective Service Draft Registration WWI.. "Harry William Evernham, Burnetts Creek, White, IND., age 33, b.19 Feb 1885, a Manager at Monticello Telephone Company, nearest relative; Edith Alice Evernham. Harry was medium height and build with Gray eyes and light brown hair."

1920 US CENSUS Jackson, White County, IN (Sheet 3A, house #61).. "Harry Everham 34, b.IN, manager-telephone company, father born in NJ, mother b.IN,.. Edith 31, b.IN,.. Richard 7, b.IN,.. Rosemary 5, b.IN,.. Roberta 3, b.IN,.. Byron 2, b.IN." Byron is traditionally a boys name but listed in this census as "Daughter", sex F. (this may be a transcription error) It is a bit hard to read so it could be something other than Byron (Bryann, Bryn?) also. This child is not listed in census data after 1920 and may have died by then.

1957 Tri-County News, June 27,.. Harry W. EVERNHAM, a resident of Waveland for the past 25 years, died at the Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville at 3 a.m. Wednesday morning age 72. He had been seriously ill for the past two weeks after receiving injuries in a fall at his home. Born Feb 19, 1885, in Francesville, Indiana, Pulaski County, Mr. Evernham was the son of William and Mary Wilson Evernham. He was married Jan 14, 1911 to Edith Coonrod at Monticello. He was a member and elder of the Waveland Presbyterian Church, a member of Waveland F & AM 300 and of the Lions Club. He was a graduate of the Monticello HS and worked for Monticello Telephone Co. for 20 years, then for Coal Creek Telephone Co 24 years. He retired a year ago. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Harold Gilliland of Waveland and Rosemary of Indianapolis; one son, Richard of Anderson; one brother, Leslie of Alexandria and four grandsons. Funeral services will be held at Machledt Funeral Home Fri morning 11 a.m. Graveside services at 3 p.m. Riverview Cem, Monticello. Services will be conducted by Rev. Harold V. Meima.
