"The Flint Journal" March 24, 1917MRS KATIE A GRAVES CLAIMED BY DEATH
Mrs. Katie A Graves, 55 years of age, wife of Sheldon Graves, died at her home, 1622 Mabel Street, yesterday afternoon, after an illness of one week of a complication of diseases.
Mrs. Graves was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Grogan and ws born in Canada, January 12, 1862. She was married to Sheldon Graves at Blue Ledge, Mich., in 1881. The family came to Flint from Onaway, Mich., five years ago. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints.
Besides her husband she leaves five children; George, Mrs. Charles Everingham, Franklin A., all of Onaway, and Ella M Graves of Flint.
