| Part of a Letter from Emily;Millersburg, MI, Feb 18, 2003; "Barbara & Jesse Everingham did have a foster child Christina (Tena), but we had no knowledge of the boy's (Hugh Everingham) adoption. We always thought that Hughie was their own child as they loved him so dearly. Jesse Everingham has a picture of himself & Hughie, when the boy was about 10. It was a large portrait & was hung up in their home...I remember it very well. I am the eldest of 4 girls; Emily Wright, Elizabeth Hawkins, Geraldine Patterson & Jessie Ackley. Our mother & father were married October 14, 1914......Emily" |
