1818 hand written church notes, page 25.. "This sixth day of September 1818 at Shrewsbury in said county, I married Mr. Elime Everingham and Miss Martha Smith of Shrewsbury in said county and then did pronounce man and wife agreeable to the law of this state.... To Joseph Philips Esqr. Clerk of Monmouth Please, John Williams, Justice of the Peace, Recd. the 30th Dec. 1818, recorded, J. Phillips, clerk."
Strangely, I have not found this couple in any other records, Cemetery, Census, Newspaper or Books.
