OBITUARY

Carla May Everingham-Ehle, age 64, of Fenwick, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 27, 2025, under the loving care of her family and U of M Sparrow Hospice.
Carla worked most of her life in the family business, R&L Grocery, working beside her father and mother. She also spent many years raising her children, nieces and nephews that she dearly loved. Carla also worked in various manufacturing shops throughout the area.
Carla loved watching NASCAR and dirt track races, crocheting and embroidering, and taught Sunday school for many years. Her family meant the world to her and she loved every moment spent with them. She liked going camping, going to ball games and outdoor concerts and Carla prided herself on the fact she never missed someone's birthday. Her talent in the kitchen was amazing and she loved to bake for her family; from peanut butter balls, sheet cakes and cookies, to veggie and fruit pizzas, her treats were made with love and enjoyed by all.
Her family would like to extend a special thank you to Jenn for being a daily help with her needs and care.
Aunt Carla to some and Grandma Carla to others, will always love you and will be very proud of you for saying your prayers daily, loving Jesus, and she can’t wait to see you in Heaven.
Carla is survived by her husband of 33 years, William Ehle; their daughter, Necole (Tom) Lowery; sons, Edward Everingham (Heather Turmo) and Bill (Rob) Ehle; grandchildren, Charles Everingham, Vivian Lowery, and Laura Lowery; great granddaughter, Charlotte Everingham; sister, Sandra Grimwood; brother, Ken (Carol) Everingham; sister-in-law, Kay Naab; brothers-in-law, Jeff (Polly) Ehle, Scott (Rebecca) Ehle; and many nieces and nephews.
Carla was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Clara Everingham; sister, Ann Marie; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bernie and Rosie Ehle; nephew, David Ehle; along with her grandparents.
