Everingham Games

A beautiful game that requires strategy, timing and memory but is easy enough for the whole family to learn. Play tested with ages 12 to 50+. Nominated a finalist in the 2013 Two Player games contest from White Goblin Games.

Players view 4 cards and try to remember them. One is hidden beneath the KING and the others are shuffled into the deck. Each player starts with 3 cards and must draw a card and play a card each turn. To play a card to the table, you play cards in family lineage lines, face-up. Each card must be a higher number than the previous card you played. These lines represent family trees that you have proven to NOT be the King's heir.

As you get closer to end of the deck, the hidden heir becomes more apparent. Do you tell the hidden heir as soon as you know, or wait for the right moment?... This is where strategy comes in. Your family lines give you no points towards victory unless you end them with "Family Crest" cards. Do you "SLAP" and expose the hidden heir, or wait until you can end your lines with "Crest" cards?... you race against your opponents to be the first to guess, or score the most points.

A quick and simple card game that's easy to learn but relies on the player's STRATEGY and MEMORY! A very unique game that will leave you saying "Let's try that again!". The dying King is hiding his heir to the throne. With deduction alone you can figure out who the hidden heir is, and save the kingdom! To do this, be the first to slap the King card and guess the correct heir being hidden by the King. But be careful,... there are tough penalties for naming the wrong heir!
