Research on Charles Everingham & Mary Flowers
wifes burial; Fletcher Cemetery, Brown twp, Miami Co. OH.
I belive that some mix-ups in research have previously occurred and this Charles was married to Nancy "Achsah" Richey. (not Mary Flowers as previously thought)... see my research links for proof of this claim. C.B. Everingham & C.R. Everingham have overlapping children and different burial sites and dates of death.

Research of Kevin Everingham of MI, 2006-2013

1858 Miami County, OH Marriage Registration #1023 -- Charles R. Everingham 21, married Nancy Elizabeth Ricky 18,... 30 September 1858 at Miami County, OH. (I have this day solemnized the marriage of Charles R. Everingham with Nancy E. Rickey, ____ my hand, this 30th day of Sept 1858. S.R. Childs) I've seen the hand written registration and it clearly shows 30th September, 1858. Some former research shows the 20th but I believe that was just transcription error.

1860 CENSUS Johnson Twp, Champaign, OH.. (#540) "C. Evernham 25, shoe maker, b.NJ,.. Achsah Evernham 21, b.PA,.. W.H. Evernham." living next door (likely close family) Henry? (#539) "H. Evernham 38, farmer,.. Eliz 36, Har 14,.. Angeline 12, W.L. 10, J.F. 1." (all born in New Jersey)

1880 CENSUS St. Paris, Champaign, OH,.... C.R. Everingham 43, b.PA, father b.NJ, mother b.PA, widowed, farmer.... Harrison Everingham 20, b.OH, son, father b.PA, mother b.OH, single,... Irvin 18, son, b.OH, farmer,... Sarah 14, b.OH, daughter,.. Mary Davis 65, b.PA, single, keeping house, relationship to head of household; other. INTERESTING FACT: on the same page of this census, 9 homes away, is Ezekiel & Ann Everingham, b.NJ... the name "Harrison" shows up in grandchildren & great grandchildren of Ezekiel... There is a connection, but I am not sure what it is.
Ann P. Journey- Everingham and some of her family and Achsay Richey-Everingham are all buried at Fletcher Cemetery, Miami, OH... there seems to be a link between these two groups. Also see social sections of Lena Ohio from newspapers listed below which lists both this family and Ezekiel's family in the same paper.
