1878 The Daily Expositor, June 13, 1878.. "(Onondaga Council) Council met this day. It was moved that the sum of ten dollars be granted to Charles Norris, to assist in the maintenance of Mary Everingham, she being a cripple from her birth and her friends being in indigent circumstances." Mary was Alice Everingham Norris' 13 to 14 year-old sister. I do not know for sure who William Norris is, listed below, but he is a probable cousin.
1878 same source, Dec 6, 1878.. "(Onondaga Council) Wm. Norris, $5, to assist in the maintenance of Mary Everingham, being a cripple and indigent."
