The JEWELL register Descendants of Thomas Jewell of Braintree, MASS, published 1860 list the children of William Jewell and Roxana Stone; Jeremiah Jewell (b.13 Sept 1832) married Lucy Ervingham on April 22, 1855. Nancy M. Jewell (b.10 Sept 1834) married Charles W. Ervingham July 4, 1854. Jeremiah & Nancy also had a brother named William Jewell (b.22 Aug 1841, d.1 Feb 1900) Was Charles who married Nancy, Lucy Ervingham's brother?

One theory is that her brother Charles was married to Nancy Jewell and she died, they may have had a child "Jay" but there is no proof of this.
NOTE: A Jay Everingham died 1st April 1922 in Huron County, Ohio (no further details)
