GEORGE L. EVERNHAM - OBITUARY
GEORGE L. EVERNHAM, 97, Pine Ridge, MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, died Thursday at Community medical Center, Toms River. He was a carpenter at the Lakehurst Naval Air Station form 1916 until retiring in 1962. He was a member of the Old Guard of Whiting, The Federal Association of Retired People, Toms river, and Trinity Methodist Church, Berkeley Township. Mr. Evernham was born in Bayville and lived there most of his life before moving to Whiting in 1976.
His wife, Alice, died in 1975. Surviving are three daughters, Virginia A. ________, Whiting, Charlotte M. _______, Manahawkin, Stafford Township, and Evelyn D. ________, Middletown, Del.; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, Toms River is in charge of arrangements.

GEORGE L. EVERNHAM, 97, of Pine Ridge, MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, who died Thursday, was a member of Lakewood Chapter 637, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. This information was incorrect in an obituary yesterday in the Asbury Park Press.
