2002 OBITUARY HURON DAILY TRIBUNE Sunday, October 6, 2002 Elizabeth E. Wahl, 85, formerly of Bad Axe, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2002 in Fort Gratiot. She was born on Sept. 1, 1917 in Kinde to the late William R. and Florence (Kent) Everingham. Elizabeth and Duane Wahl were married July 10, 1938. He preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1984. Elizabeth enjoyed walking, reading, baking and spending time with her family. She was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bad Axe. She is survived by two daughters, Harriet Poyhonen and her husband, John, of Trinity, Fla., and Reinette Goldsworthy and her husband, James, of Fort Gratiot; three grandsons; three great-grandchildren; one brother, William Everingham of Florida; four sisters, Lois Everingham of Caseville, Charlotte Nickle of Saginaw, Adelaide Markle of Lansing and Aileen Tamblyn of Hillsdale. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe. A memorial service will follow at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Jan Dykshoorn officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or Blue Water Hospice
