1982 OBITUARY Robinson, ILLINOIS info from William Everingham, March 2004 Anna Gertrude Barbee, 86, Robinson, died Friday at Crawford County Convalescent Center. She was born in Hutsonville, August 28, 1895, daughter of William and Jane Franklin Merritt. In 1912, she married Benjamin Frakes Everingham, who preceeded her in death in 1952. In 1953, she married Frank Barbee, who preceded her in death in 1958. She was a member of Highland Avenue Southern Baptist Church, and a former member of the First Christian Church, Hutsonville. She is survived by four sons, Edward Lee Everingham, Harvey Dean Everingham, and Charles Arthur Everingham, all of Robinson, and Benjamin Frakes Everingham, Jr., Zeigler; a daughter Mrs. Esmond (Myrtle) Shook, Robinson, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-granchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Frances Burnett, in 1978, an infant son, William Pearl, two half brothers, and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, with Brother Jack Oglesby officiating. Burial will be in Hutsonville Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
