Murray "Dan" Johnston, Obituary
Passed away on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at his home in Frankfort, MI. Danny was born Oct. 18, 1939 to Ben and Annie Johnston in Onaway, MI. On March 19, 1966 he married his love Rena in Lansing, MI. After his family, Danny's loves were hunting, fishing, camping, and NASCAR.
Danny was loved and will be missed by his wife Rena; his three sons and daughter: Ben (Kelly) Johnston, Adam (Lynn) Gunn, Hugh (Gail) Gunn and Sheryl (Jeff) Landgraf and five grandchildren: Katie Gunn, AJ Gunn, Melanie Strouse, Jake Johnston and Jake Landgraf. He will also be missed by his siblings, Sharon (Dick) Dilley, Mike (Sue) Johnston, Patty (Doug) Pringle and Connie (Will) Trachsel.
Dan is reunited with his parents, Ben and Annie, sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Chuck Casaday, and nephew, Doug Pringle.
A celebration of Dan's life will be held on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Haslett Community Church.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 27, 11:00 a.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave, East Lansing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel."
