SAME DANIEL? There is a Pvt. Daniel M. Everingham Civil War Union Soldier buried at the Christian Brethren Burying Ground, in Delran, Burlington, NJ. The stone has no dates on it but is in the right location to be this Daniel except for the middle initial was "M". It is possible that transcribed records have confused written "U", "W" and "M" as middle initials. He was enrolled in the 12th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry on August 4, 1862, and was mustered in as a Private in Company D on September 4, 1862. He served through the campaigns and battles in Virginia and Maryland, and was honorably discharged on June 4, 1865, having served almost three full years.
