Norcross is listed in the 1890 Special Schedule of surviving soldiers of the Civil War, living in Ocean County, New Jersey (page 7), Pvt., Co.E, 3rd NJ Infantry.

An unconfirmed family note says that A Mrs. Jackson died in Florida 2008, she was born 27 March 1916 at Tom's River, NJ, her sister was Bertha Momcries and her parents were Alexander Evernham & Margaret Norcross. if this is the correct family, this gives Margaret's maiden name.
