Witnesses: Charlie Desand and Lottie Everingham, both of Alvinston. Minister: Gerald Willoughby of Alvinston, Ont.
NOTES on Husband George: son of JULIUS UPLEGGER and MARY REINWAIT. George was a stave-maker or commonly called a cooper. He cut stave to make barrels. While in Cashmere, they would be large barrels in which the fish were packed in salt and sold to Detroit area.
When the fishing dried up in Cashmere, they moved to Smiths Falls in Eastern Ontario. Their youngest daughter was born there. He was employed by Canadian Cooperage of that town. While in their employ, he won an award as the best stave cutter.
They later moved back to the City of London, Ont.
